Job Description: 

The Web Producer is part of the Marketing Operations team and delivers high-quality strategic solutions that will enable our website to meet and exceed the needs of our various audience segments while also achieving critical business results. The Webmaster will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and deploying the public-facing web application (built on the Drupal framework). The webmaster will also create/deliver actionable Google Analytics engagement & conversion reporting, and leverage data to continually enhance website engagement, SEO optimization and organic site traffic lift, and provide recommendations for content improvements that would deliver enhanced value to primary audience segments.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the digital properties of a major non profit, prioritizing initiatives, analyzing and reporting on site trends, and improving user experience/journeys and content personalization
  • Lead and execute website development projects end to end, present progress updates, and demonstrate new functionalities
  • Execute all content updates for the website in Drupal CMS and train team members as needed
  • Manage the editorial/project calendar associated to all marketing submissions for website updates and more complex projects in collaboration with our Drupal agency partner
  • Consult with internal stakeholders to determine the website's desired appearance and functionalities and recommend improvements to user experience, information architecture, and new templates
  • Establish a website governance policies and standards to ensure UI/UX consistency as well as to help guide website updates and new content integrations
  • Manage and collaborate with external managed services agency and Drupal developers to develop, build, and launch more complex website initiatives
  • Recommend opportunities for site enhancement (content, customization/journeys, etc.) based on analytics, observed visitor behavior, and business or constituent objectives. Gain buy in, then prioritize and collaborate with Drupal developers to build and execute enhancements
  • Maintain expertise in SEO techniques and implement SEO best practices
  • Ensure implementation of best practices in website tracking including relevant plug-ins with other systems, 3rd party tracking pixels, building cookie pools for remarketing, etc.


  • Bachelor’s’ degree or higher
  • A passion for digital media and customer experience
  • 5+ years' experience executing website strategy, development, and content preferably with work experience at a media or interactive/digital/UX agency
  • HTML/CSS and SEO experience for optimization of web pages and user funnel / flow
  • Expert in building and managing Drupal CMS
  • Self-directed, detail and solutions oriented, with formidable project management skills and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines
  • A keen editor’s eye with copy and creative a plus
  • Effective listening, speaking, and leadership skills with the ability to lead executive-level meetings and communications
  • Master in pulling analytics, creating dashboards, and distilling the performance data into clear and concise presentations
  • Solid knowledge of marketing automation and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Optimizely, Hubspot, etc.)
  • Front-end and back-end web development and UI/UX experience a plus
  • Experience with Google Adwords a plus
  • Experience initiating and optimizing SEM and PPC campaigns (Google Ads) a plus
  • Salesforce CRM/database expertise a plus
  • Experience working with matrixed non-profit organizations a plus
