Senior Healthcare Copywriter – Pharmaceutical Marketing Agency

We're hiring a senior-level copywriter with over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical healthcare agencies to join our growing creative team. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you'll play a key role in developing compelling promotional concepts for both branded and unbranded campaigns across integrated channels for our life sciences clients.

Successful candidates will:

  • Generate unique conceptual ideas based on insight-driven creative strategy for branded advertising, unbranded disease education, and services.
  • Showcase a portfolio with healthcare experience, demonstrating proficiency in short and long-form writing across various mediums, including websites, social media, digital assets, collateral, and sales aids for healthcare professionals (experience with patient/consumer materials is a bonus).
  • Demonstrate the ability to create hierarchical promotional messaging in a highly regulated category.
  • Have client-facing experience with excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals within our client base.
  • Exhibit experience in reference/fact checking and supporting medical, regulatory, and legal reviews.


  • Develop healthcare professional brand/promotional written materials from concept to execution.
  • Comprehend, summarize, and translate clinical data into compelling promotional materials and communications.
  • Reference and annotate communications.
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
  • Write derivative communications from established campaigns.
  • Transition seamlessly between traditional media and digital projects.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing projects.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Stay current with industry developments and tools.


  • 5+ years of work experience as a healthcare promotional copywriter at a marketing agency.
  • BA degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in healthcare sectors like oncology and rare diseases is a plus.
  • Strong technical skills with online business technology tools for time entry, using video conferencing, and annotating documents.
  • Strong quality control skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with multiple teams.
