The Role
This role will report to the Creative Director and play a key role in shaping the agency's brand identity. The ideal candidate will bring extensive design expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to ensure project success.
- Responsibilities include providing creative guidance and mentorship to junior designers, overseeing project direction to align with brand and goals, and applying strategic thinking to projects while considering objectives and user experience.
- The designer will develop visually appealing designs that support the overall project strategy, manage design projects including timelines, tasks, and delivery, and collaborate with various teams to integrate design seamlessly.
- Staying updated on design trends, technologies, and best practices is crucial. The designer will also propose innovative design ideas and push creative boundaries.
- Understanding client design needs and presenting design concepts, incorporating client feedback to deliver exceptional design solutions, and maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail in all design work are all essential.
- Ensuring design elements meet the highest quality and consistency standards is a must. The designer will collaborate effectively with marketing, product development, and other stakeholders, and communicate design vision and concepts clearly to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of design experience in an agency or studio environment and proven experience as a Senior Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects. Experience in the healthcare or science industries is a plus, as is project management experience.
- Proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite is required. Experience with animation, UI, and UX is a plus.
- The candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, along with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- They will be skilled at prioritizing and managing time under pressure, with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks is a must.
