Position: Social Media Strategist

We are currently seeking a full-time Social Media Strategist to play a crucial role in leading digital strategy and innovation, encompassing paid media, Hubspot, website/mobile development, and social media across diverse business lines.

Your primary focus will be to spearhead the social media digital strategy and influencer engagement approach for client accounts within the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media digital strategies and influencer engagement plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketers, programmers, copywriters, designers, project managers, account leads, researchers, and sales.
  • Create highly targeted, on-brand content and tone to engage and grow diverse audiences.
  • Employ influencer mapping, engagement, and activation across all channels.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns to surpass key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead generation, engagement, lead score, conversion rates, awareness, share of voice, and sentiment.
  • Manage multiple campaigns and workflows simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and meeting deadlines.
  • Utilize knowledge of personas, audience segmentation, and social listening/social intelligence.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory considerations in digital, including GDPR, and specific to pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, patient privacy, and adverse event reporting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in social media monitoring and management platforms.
  • Stay informed about and anticipate digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic, data-driven recommendations.
  • Apply analytical skills to use data in informing media strategies and optimizations.
  • Exhibit organizational skills as a self-starter, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2 to 3 years of prior experience in social media strategy and influencer marketing, preferably in an agency and within the Pharma space.
  • Proven success in managing diverse campaigns and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of personas, audience segmentation, and social listening/social intelligence.
  • Familiarity with influencer engagement across various channels.
  • Understanding of regulatory considerations in digital marketing, especially in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, patient privacy, and adverse event reporting.
  • Proficiency in social media monitoring and management platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, utilizing data to inform media strategies and optimizations.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
